Privacy notice

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Aurora uses optional Google Analytics only after you allow it. Mission coordinates, draft names, vehicle settings, engineering results, and exported-file contents are not attached to Aurora-defined analytics events.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 records ordinary website usage such as page views, approximate region, device category, browser type, referring source, and the two public links selected on the home page. Depending on the web-stream settings, Google may also record scroll depth, outbound-link selections, and that a file-download link was selected, but not the downloaded file's contents. Advertising storage, Google Signals, and advertising personalization are disabled.

Your choice

Analytics is disabled by default. Selecting Allow analytics stores a preference in this browser and loads the Google tag. Selecting No thanks keeps the tag unloaded. Use the Privacy control at the bottom of any measured page to change your preference.

Planner data

Mission drafts and automatic recovery data are stored locally in your browser. The planner sends mission inputs to the Aurora planning service when compiling a route, but those inputs are not forwarded to Google Analytics. Browser-local drafts are not cloud accounts and are not synchronized between devices.

Retention and providers

The Aurora Analytics property is configured for a short event-data retention period. Google processes consented analytics data under its own terms and privacy controls. Read Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

Questions

Privacy questions can be raised through the public Aurora VTOL repository. Do not include private mission coordinates or confidential engineering information in a public issue.
